Areas you wish to treat will need to be shaved on the day of the procedure (no waxing or threading). We will adjust the laser so the settings are customized to each patient’s specific needs, including skin color, hair thickness, and location of the hair. Smaller areas, such as the upper lip and chin, take less than 5 minutes to treat, while larger areas, such as the legs and back, can take up to 15 minutes to treat. The patient will require a series of treatments (usually six treatments are recommended) scheduled at approximately six weeks apart to achieve permanent hair removal.
